We are pleased to announce that the 61st NAWRS Workshop will be held July 18–21, 2027, in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin!

Since 1956, NAWRS has convened human services practitioners, policymakers, administrators, and researchers interested in exchanging ideas on how research and statistical analysis can contribute to the development and administration of more effective human services programs. We look forward to continuing that tradition in a city that offers an ideal setting for connection, conversation, and new ideas.

Madison is a city where ideas and community thrive. Madison combines the energy of a vibrant research and public-service community with the welcoming feel of a smaller city. The city’s setting also makes it a fitting place for NAWRS as the Capital of Wisconsin and home to Wisconsin’s largest university. Madison invites us to step away from our day-to-day work, exchange perspectives, and make time for the conversations that often continue long after a presentation has ended. Whether you're exploring the lakeshore, enjoying the Capitol Square, walking the city's many trails, or simply catching up with colleagues, we hope Madison will provide a memorable backdrop for our 2027 gathering.

NAWRS will release a Call for Proposals for NAWRS 2027 later in 2026.
